Welcome, Timeless! Today, we're diving into a meaningful topic: how the relationship between parents can shape their children's understanding of love and relationships.
Not just marriage, your life, your relationship, the whole gambit of it all. Your kids are experiencing it firsthand, and it shapes so much of them. Your friendship, your relationship with your parents, your relationship with your siblings, they see all of it, and like sponges they’re soaking it up. We want to make sure that the relationships that our children see are healthy, they’re good relationships. A lot of times we maybe think about ourselves as this one being, I am me, but we have these little satellites around us called children, who are watching us, and we are all they know sometimes. And they’re looking into the adults, they’re looking to the older people in their lives to help shape how they respond in life. However they see you respond to adversity, that’s how they’re gonna respond to it. However they see you dating, that’s how they’re going to date, because that’s what they have learned.

We have to make sure we step back and take accountability for what we’re putting in front of our children, because we are feeding their brains. We wouldn’t feed them poison, we shouldn’t sit a toxic relationship in front of our kids. A strong, loving relationship between parents can indeed set a positive example for children, shaping their views on love and relationships as they grow.
Thank you all for reading this important topic! We hope you have learnt something from this.
